A Denmark-based Nigerian lady, Tina Nneoma Offu, has shared how a woman can tell if she married a ‘’weapon fashioned against her.”
“He will never let you work, will convince you to be a housewife with plenty promises . But as time goes on, you realize those promises were just a tactic to make you financially dependent on him. No job means no income, and no income means no freedom,” she wrote in a Facebook post on Thursday.
He will get you pregnant every year in order to destabilise you. it’s often a strategy to keep you weak, exhausted, and unable to focus on yourself. With multiple children to care for and no financial independence, you become completely reliant on him, making it nearly impossible to leave, even if you want to.
He will make feel insecure. He compares you to other women, makes you feel unattractive, and reminds you of your flaws just to break your spirit. His goal is to make sure you never feel confident enough to leave him or demand better treatment.
He will make you lack self confidence . He dismisses your opinions, makes you feel unintelligent, and ensures you no longer recognize the strong, independent person you once were. Before you know it, you’re doubting yourself at every turn, afraid to make decisions without his approval.
