Nile Entertainment Launches Film Distribution Operation With “Wives On Strike 3”

Moses Babatope is the CEO of Nile Entertainment Group; he made an important announcement on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. He used his official Instagram account to announced the first movie that Nile Entertainment will distribute. The movie is titled “The Uprising: Wives on Strike 3“. This is the third film in the “Wives on Strike” series.

This announcement is significant because it’s the first film that Nile Entertainment will handle through its distribution division.

Distribution is the process of getting a movie into theaters or other viewing platforms so people can watch it. By distributing this film, Nile Entertainment is expanding its role in the movie industry.

Omoni Oboli is the director of the “Wives on Strike” movies.

On July 10, 2024, she released a teaser for the third movie in this series, “The Uprising: Wives on Strike 3”.

The first “Wives on Strike” movie came out in 2016. The second movie, called “Wives on Strike: The Revolution”, was released in 2018. Yet again, the third movie, “The Uprising: Wives on Strike 3” is coming this 2024.

These movies are satires. They tell the story of a group of women who refuse to have sex with their husbands. The women do this to make their husbands speak up for a young girl.

In the story, this young girl’s father is trying to make her marry an older man. The women’s protest also becomes a stand against violence towards women in their community.

While these movies are funny, they also make people think about serious problems that women face.

“Wives on Strike” has a large and talented group of actors. The cast includes several well-known Nigerian actresses. The include Chioma Akpotha, Uche Jombo, Omoni Oboli,Ufuoma McDermott, and Hilda Dokubo.

The movie also features Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori (KieKie). May Yul-Edochie rounds out this impressive group of actors in the film.

Having such a strong cast shows the movie features many talented performances.
